Polling stations are open from 7 AM to 10 PM on election day. Plan for about 20 minutes to vote. Pick a time and go to your designated polling station.
Bring your polling card and a valid ID if required. If you don’t have a polling card you can still vote with your valid ID.
When you arrive, give your name and address to the staff. You’ll be given a ballot paper. The ballot will be Welsh and English.
Go to a private booth to mark your vote next to your chosen candidate.
Fold your ballot paper and place it in the ballot box. That’s it!
Don’t be afraid to ask questions or for help. Those at the polling stations are there to help you.
They can help with accessibility and mobility needs. Magnifying glasses and tactile voting devices are available. Just ask.
